Welcome to the 15th Anniversary Celebration of The Ferguson Literary Agency! We are so excited to reach this milestone in the publishing industry that we’ve planned several events through the end of the year to show our appreciation to the writing community.
As you may have noticed, we’ve kicked off the festivities with a brand new website. Many thanks to web diva Tee C. Royal of Simply Elegant Webs for creating such a gorgeous cyberhome for TFLA. Choosing the perfect web designer was a priority for us because we needed a designer who was not only a master techie but a design artiste. We were very blessed to find that rare combination in Tee who has excelled in bringing our vision to life.
The events phase of the celebration will include content rich online workshops and seminars that will help writers grow in three very important areas of their careers: the business of writing, the craft of writing and the promotion of their writing. There will be Q & A teleseminars sprinkled in so that writers can have the opportunity to get answers to questions that arise as they apply their new found knowledge and resources.
We’ll also offer free reports on the hottest trends and topics in the industry. Some of the current issues that are lighting up cellphones and tablets everywhere are e-books, DRM, royalties (e-book and print) and agency models to name a few.
